There is always a variety of festivities that celebrate our nation’s independence: patriotic performances, music events, contests, fireworks. We have several of the best 4th of July events happening in the Upstate.

June 29 – Greer Freedom Blast
Location: Greer City Park
Time: 6 pm – 10 pm
One of Greer’s largest festivals, Freedom Blast, takes place June 29th. This family-friendly event pays tribute to America’s independence. There will be live music, food, inflatables, and military displays and patriotic tribute and Veterans Walk. Spectating the event will also enjoy watching one of the largest fireworks displays in South Carolina starting at 10 pm.
June 29 – Celebrate Simpsonville
Location: Simpsonville Amphitheater at Heritage Park
Time: 6 pm
Simpsonville celebrates the Independence Day at Charter Amphitheatre at Heritage Park with family fun-filled activities. There will be a concert by the Atlanta Rhythm Section and there will be a spectacular firework display to watch out. This is a FREE event for all. Spectators can bring blankets and chairs but no outside food or drink.
June 29 – Town of Williamston Freedom Celebration and Fireworks
Location: Mineral Spring Park
Time: 12 pm – 10 pm
The Town of Williamston’s Independence Day Celebration will be on the 29th. There will be live music, food vendors, car show at 5 pm, and an amazing fireworks display at 9:30 pm.
June 30 – Red, White, and You 2019
Location: Fairview Park
Time: 7 pm – 10 pm
Celebrate Independence Day with Fairview Baptist Church. The Red, White and You 2019 will be held at Fairview Park, located on Highway 290. There will be food trucks on site, fun games for the family, free drinks, music, and fireworks display.
June 30 – Whitefield Baptist’s Freedom Celebration
Location: Whitefield Baptist Church
Time: 6 pm
This family-friendly event hosted by the Whitefield Baptist Church will be held at the church’s front lawn. There will be food for sale and treats at the venue plus games for kids, car and motorcycle show, music by The Alvey’s, fellowship, and a huge firework display.
July 3 – Clemson Fest 2019 –
Location: 1569 Eighteen Mile Road in Central
Time: 5 pm-10 pm
The 26th annual ClemsonFest returns on July 3rd from 5-10 pm. This year’s event will be located at a new location: 1569 Eighteen Mile Road in Central. Celebrate Independence Day with live music by Carolina Coast Band, fun activities for kids, great food and amazing firework display. Admission tickets are $5 per person or $10 per carload.
July 4 – All American Blast
Location: Depot in Fountain Inn
Time: 4 pm -10 pm
Fountain Inn celebrates All American Blast with a live performance by Steel Toe Stiletto, kids entertainment, great food, cold beverages, and fireworks at dusk.
July 4 – Wells Fargo Red, White, and Blue Festival
Location: Downtown Greenville
Time: 5 pm – 10 pm
One of the anticipated Independence Day celebrations in the Upstate, Greenville’s Wells Fargo Red, White & Blue Festival will light up the night sky with an incredible firework display at 9:45 pm. Apart from the main event, spectators will also enjoy live music on two stages, fun-filled activities in the Zaxby’s Kidz Zone and a variety of popular food and beverage vendors. The event takes place in downtown Greenville from Court to Camperdown streets and will encompass Broad Street, from Laurens to Falls Streets, and Falls Park.
July 4 – Freedom Fun Fest
Location: Kroc Center, downtown Greenville
Time: 4 pm – 10 pm
Celebrate 4th of July with your friends and family on the Kroc field for Freedom Fun Fest. There will be music, concessions, and more. $10 Parking, $1 Bounce Houses.
July 4 – Red, White, and Boom
Location: Barnet Park in Spartanburg
Time: 5 pm – 10 pm
Spartanburg will celebrate the 4th of July with a bang! Expect great food including BBQ, funnel cakes, burgers, hotdogs, ice cream, and more! There will be live music by Steel Toe Stiletto plus a spectacular firework display at 9:35 pm. There is $5 admission (kids 6 and under are free) and food and drinks are available for purchase.
4th of July Celebration at Pickens Amphitheatre
Location: Main Street in Pickens
Time: 7 pm – 10 pm
Kick off your evening with an Independence Eve performance by the Jake Bartley Band, performing at 7 pm! Take the family to enjoy food, music, and more.
