13th Annual Mac Arnold Cornbread & Collard Greens Blues Festival City of Fountain Inn | April 25-27, 2019 | Free!Fountain Inn Presents the 13th Mac Arnold Cornbread & Collard Greens Blues Festival April 25 – 27. Thursday and Friday the event will start at 5 PM – 9 PM and on Saturday the event will begin at 4 PM – 10 PM. This is a Family Friendly event with tons of fun activities for the adults and children to enjoy. Come out and enjoy the music!

Piedmont Natural Gas Downtown Alive Presented by Clemson MBA April 25, 2019, 5:30 pm NOMA Square | FreePiedmont Natural Gas Downtown Alive, presented by Clemson MBA, kicks off the weekend every Thursday night with music at NOMA Square on Main Street.More than 45,000 people attend this event annually. The event serves as the single largest fundraiser for the Metropolitan Arts Council.

Spring Break Family Fun April 1-30, 2019 Chimney Rock at Chimney Rock State Park | Park Admission Join one of our Park Naturalists for an informal program where your family will love meeting some of our wilder teammates! Kids of all ages are sure to take home some fun facts and special memories. Then, grab a Track Trail brochure at the Animal Discovery Den and round out the day with a hike along our Great Woodland Adventure trail with 12 education stations. Don’t forget your camera!

With Spring comes lots of great events around the Upstate. Make plans now to spend a day satisfying your -palate around these trip-worthy food events this spring!

Project Host 10th Annual BBQ Cook-Off & Festival – April 26-27 at Future site of City Park near the Swamp Rabbit Trail. Fri 6 pm – 10 pm and Sat 11 am – 4 pm. The festival includes an “Anything Butt BBQ” competition, barbecue, brisket, and rib cooking contests and great entertainment including live music, food vendors, beverages, and games for kids. Admission is always free and tasting tickets are sold at the festival.

Spring Bock Party – April 27 at Iron Hill Brewery Restaurant. Saturday 1 pm – 5 pm. Come celebrate Iron Hill Brewery’s one year anniversary, Greenville Craft Beer Week, and the release of the Spring Mai Bock on Saturday, April 27th from 1-5 pm! Live music, pig-pickin’ and some of the best craft beer in Greenville!

BarkBQ – April 27 at Liberty Taproom & Grill. Saturday 12 pm – 3 pm. Bring your friendly pups, or n even adopt one from Lucky Pup. They will have Kelly Jo and Buffalo playing the live tunes and will be featuring $10 BBQ plates including pulled pork, pimento mac and cheese, baked beans & a roll. You can enter to win several of the raffle prizes, all benefiting Lucky Pup! Come support the pups and have a great time on the pet-friendly patio!

Strawberry Festival and Country Fair – May 4 at Slater Hall. Saturday 10 am – 4 pm. Beautiful scenery, great food, friendly people. All kinds of craft and food vendors, Magic shows, Beach Bob, Georgia’s Tea Room, and English Country Dancing! All kinds of food and craft vendors.

The Greek Festival – May 16-19 at St. George Greer Orthodox Cathedral. Thurs-Sun. For four fun-filled days, Greenville becomes ‘Greekville’ as the magic of Greece comes to town! This festival will offer Greek favorites, live Greek music, and traditional folk dancing.

Bovinoche Whole Animal Roast & Music Festival – May 18 at Upcountry Provisions Bakery and Bistro. Saturday 3 pm – 9 pm. An afternoon celebrating fire, meat, and refreshments in a rustic, camp-like setting, Pitmaster Jeff Bannister, Chef-duo Stephen & Cheryl Kraus of Upcountry Provisions and special guest chefs will collaborate this May for Bovinoche.
