Foodie Destination of the Week |
The restaurant scene in greater Greenville has exploded off the past decade with new restaurants springing up here and there. Downtown Greenville alone has brought an array of tasty cuisines to pick from which makes it a great place for anyone who wants to try different culinary experiences. This week, we’ll highlight one of the best places to dine and experience Greenville’s gastronomic delights.
Fireforge Crafted Beer
Greenville’s brewery scene is growing exponentially. The old WN Watson building now houses Fireforge, the 4,500-square-foot brewery is now housing the flowing tap lines of Greenville’s newest brewery.
Fireforge is the brewing project of Brian and Nicole Cendrowski and they have just recently opened last June. The small-batch brewery, tasting room, and pleasure garden can accommodate almost 400 people inside and out. As for the beer, founders Brian and Nicole have a passion for exploring new flavors so you will find something exciting. Try out Brokkr, Spinto Santo IPA, John Hopcock, Pool Honeys Peach Milkshake IPA, and Fires of Helles Bock. The majority of their beers are 6-9% alcohol. They have three different size options (small, medium, or large) at very reasonable prices.
Nothing beats savoring a cold brew at the end of a tiring day. The atmosphere inside is relaxing with all the cool decors put together: rustic pallet wood walls, comfy furniture, a rad owl lamp, stained glass & eclectic original tap handles. They have an outside patio for cornhole. The staffs are extremely helpful and friendly too. They offer snacks in the meantime and the brewery is open Wednesday through Sunday. It’s a great new place where you’ll want to come, hang out, and relax.
