UP on the Roof
With fall just around the corner, where to go for some fresh air, sunshine or stars, and a good meal or beer? Go to downtown Greenville and try UP on the Roof.
UP on the Roof is a newer restaurant in downtown Greenville that’s taking nightlife to a new level. UP, as locals call it, boasts some of the most scenic vistas in Greenville. It is located on the rooftop (8th floor) of the Embassy Suites at RiverPlace in downtown Greenville. This relaxing venue invites guests to linger and take in the views of this quintessential Southern town. The scenic views transform throughout the day, from vivid blue skies into magnificent sunsets and twinkling nightscape.
Pick the patio when it comes to a sit-down meal and with all this great weather in South Carolina, it’s hard not to get excited about al fresco dining. UP offers unique wine selections, cocktails, and regionally brewed craft beers. They also offer luncheon entrees, platters for sharing and bar snacks. The place can get pretty crowded so come early!

Topgolf is Coming to Greenville!
Topgolf, a global golf entertainment leader, announced that Greenville is one of the several cities being considered to construct new Topgolf location.
Top golf is not your average driving range. Their venues typically feature three tiers of 102 climate-controlled hitting bays that can host up to six players at one time. Players hit golf balls that contain computer chips that track each shot’s accuracy and distance while awarding points for hitting targets on the outfield. They also offer food and beverages, music, games and hundreds of HDTVs.
