The restaurant scene in greater Greenville has exploded off the past decade with new restaurants springing up here and there. Downtown Greenville alone has brought an array of tasty cuisines to pick from which makes it a great place for anyone who wants to try different culinary experiences. This week, we’ll highlight one of the best places to dine and experience Greenville’s gastronomic delights.
D’Allesandro’s Pizza
D’Allesandro is a great addition to the pizza scene in Greenville. This Charleston-based pizzeria has a unique bicycle-themed quaint spot with eye-catching unique decorations inside, large seating area, and space outside for kids to play.
Do they have pizzas of every type to satisfy every taste? Absolutely! There are around 30 pies, all of which start with a base of D’Allesandro’s house-made dough. Pizzas range from basic to traditional to funky and come in 10-, 12- or 16-inch sizes. Something to try is their Chauncinator pizza with lots of pepperoni and red sauce in lieu of tomatoes; Get Gnarly with olive oil, garlic, spinach, balsamic chicken, mozzarella, blue cheese crumbles; the Beetnick with olive oil and garlic base, mozzarella, goat cheese, bacon, golden beets, rosemary; and the , Buffalo Chicken with olive oil, garlic, mozzarella, buffalo chicken, blue cheese crumbles. They also offer fresh salad and wide beer and wine selection.
If you’re looking for a great new downtown Greenville pizza, you should check them out. Expect friendly staff, cool space, enough parking and just a fun place to go with family and friends.

Greenville’s Euphoria Food Festival is happening this weekend!
Euphoria is the perfect excursion for any food, wine, or music lover. All weekend long, food lovers from all over the state can mingle with chefs and indulge in artisanal food, wine, and spirits from vendors at euphoria as it put a spotlight on Greenville’s thriving culinary and music arts communities.
Now in its 13th year, Euphoria is known for its intimate culinary, musical and learning experiences. The four-day event involves a lot of eating, drinking, walking, dancing, talking, and learning. There are demos and classes covering everything from baking, barbecues, wine seminars, oysters, and cocktails. Vendors on hand discussed methods of preparation, training, and tastings.
Euphoria began its roots in 2006 thanks to Edwin McCain and Soby’s Carl Sobocinski as a way to highlight the culinary and arts community of the Upstate as well as to bring people together through food, live music, and wine while raising funds to give back to the community. Every September since then, it has become a destination event for locals and non-locals.
Euphoria will take place September 20-23 in downtown Greenville. Visit their website to view the line up for each day and get your tickets before it is too late.
