Foodie Destination of the Week |
The restaurant scene in greater Greenville has exploded off the past decade with new restaurants springing up here and there. Downtown Greenville alone has brought an array of tasty cuisines to pick from which makes it a great place for anyone who wants to try different culinary experiences. This week, we’ll highlight one of the best places to dine and experience Greenville’s gastronomic delights.
Creme Shack
One of the things we crave for in summer is ice cream. If you aren’t having it once, you’re having it twice, and sometimes more. And in Creme Shack, they offer a unique take on ice cream because they serve it rolled.
The rolling process involves mixing a liquid ice cream base with mix-ins like fresh fruit on top of a freezing plate. Then, the mixture is smoothed out onto the plate and rolled into neat rolls. The finished product is served with toppings and, at Creme Shack, a cookie and a poke stick.
Watching the rolled ice cream get made at Creme Shack is both entrancing and mouthwatering. Creme Shack features a menu of 15 preset flavors of rolled ice cream, but customers can still create their own flavors by choosing certain mix-ins and toppings. They also offer unique treats like homemade rolled ice cream cookie sandwiches and specialty waffle desserts.
