Foodie Destination of the Week |
The restaurant scene in Greenville has exploded off the past decade with new restaurants springing up here and there. Downtown Greenville alone has brought an array of tasty cuisines to pick from which makes it a great place for anyone who wants to try different culinary experiences. This week, we’ll highlight one of the best places to dine and experience Greenville’s gastronomic delights.
Jianna
Now that fall is officially here, treat yourself to a restaurant with a good view. Probably one of the prettiest terraces you can find in Greenville is at Jianna, you can treat yourself on the terrace overlooking the Falls Park district.
Greenville is packed with Italian restaurants but what made Jianna unique is that this Italian restaurant exudes the traditions of a modern Italian Osteria with a bustling open kitchen and an approachable and more casual style. Their pasta is house made and they offer unique preparations of fresh sea food.
Visitors can drop in for a small bite at the bar or in the dining rooms, or opt for a full meal, choosing starters like Ricotta Crostini, Char-grilled Octopus, or Potato Gnocchi, followed by pasta and a main. The wine list also provides an excellent list of Italian vino. Come here for dinner or lunch on a weekend and sample their delicious offerings.
