The restaurant scene in Greenville has exploded off the past decade with new restaurants springing up here and there. Downtown Greenville alone has brought an array of tasty cuisines to pick from which makes it a great place for anyone who wants to try different culinary experiences. This week, we’ll highlight one of the newest additions to Greenville’s gastronomic scene.
Sully’s Steamer
One could spend a long time dreaming of nothing but what they might order at Sully’s Steamers: there are lots of options for bagel sandwiches, not just simple bagel sandwiches. You see, this place is known for its famous steamed bagel sandwiches, if the raving reviews on Yelp, TripAdvisor and other popular review site are enough indications, the reviews do live up to its hype by the way, locals love this place, it’s where we gather for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It’s where we recommend out of town visitors to try a unique sandwich experience. The service and atmosphere at Sully’s Steamers were friendly, inviting, and cool. Their interesting menu will surely make you come back for more.

Did you know the largest park in Greenville, South Carolina has 122 acres? Cleveland Park was created in the late 1920s after the Cleveland family donated 122 acres of land along the Reedy River to the city to be used as a park and play ground area. In its earliest years, the park included a Girl Scout meeting place, a nine-hole public golf course, a swimming pool and a skating rink which was later replaced by a sea lion exhibit, then a rose garden. For many residents of Greenville, this is “The City Park.” This large and diverse park today features tennis and volleyball courts, a softball field, playground areas, a fitness trail equipped with workout stations, picnic shelters, and the site of the Rock Quarry Garden, the Fernwood Nature Trail, and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. Additionally, the Swamp Rabbit Trail runs through the park and connects this park to numerous other recreation areas, including Falls Park and Linky Stone Park. The Greenville Zoo is adjacent to Cleveland Park too.
