Foodie Destination of the Week |
The restaurant scene in Greenville has exploded off the past decade with new restaurants springing up here and there. Downtown Greenville alone has brought an array of tasty cuisines to pick from which makes it a great place for anyone who wants to try different culinary experiences. This week, we’ll highlight one of the best places to dine and experience Greenville’s gastronomic delights.
Vault & Vator
Vault & Vator is a cocktail lounge with chic, industrial decor located in a basement speakeasy setting in the heart of downtown Greenville. This is Greenville’s first speakeasy style modern cocktail lounge and it succeeds in creating a cozy atmosphere where people unplug and enjoy a hand-crafted Golden Age inspired cocktails.
Keep your eyes out for the lounge’s sign, trying to locate the entrance is a challenge. It’s tucked away on the basement level of Edward Jones Building. They don’t take reservations and seating is a first come, first served basis. There is usually a wait during peak hours, but don’t worry, the door team will take your name and contact information to let you know when seats become available. They stick to their house rule of no standing. All guests will have their own seat and have a merry time sipping their crafted cocktail.
The Vault & Valor menu offers innovative cocktails, beer and wine, and small plates. Try their signature Vow of Silence mezcal cocktail, you won’t regret.
