The restaurant scene in greater Greenville has exploded off the past decade with new restaurants springing up here and there. Downtown Greenville alone has brought an array of tasty cuisines to pick from which makes it a great place for anyone who wants to try different culinary experiences. This week, we’ll highlight one of the best places to dine and experience Greenville’s gastronomic delights.
The Farehouse
Looking for a new restaurant? Bring your family and friends at the Farehouse and get a taste of this new restaurant from chef Michael Marut. The new restaurant brings some flavor to Taylor’s restaurant scene. It is located in Taylors Mill’s Dock No. 3. formerly Due South Coffee.
The Farehouse is a family-friendly destination with New York style pizza, a private dining area and wine cellar, as well as a children’s area, outdoor seating and over 20 beer and wine for your choosing.
The restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner. The owners want guests to enjoy cuisine worthy of a fine-dining experience at a lower cost. If you want to have a slice of pizza and a pint of beer on the deck for $10, the Farehouse is the place to go, or if you want a fine dining experience, you can have it too. In addition to pizzas, The Farehouse menu also feature items like grilled salmon, fresh salad, pasta bowls, and dinner specials using fresh, locally-sourced meat and produce.
Most of the menu items are under $20 and the team at the Farehouse is looking forward to incorporating beer from the next door 13 Stripes Brewery into their recipes and collaborate to cultivate an environment of comradery. Local Taylors residents can expect to hear more about this restaurant.
