     Foodie Destination of the Week

The restaurant scene in Greenville has exploded off the past decade with new restaurants springing up here and there. Downtown Greenville alone has brought an array of tasty cuisines to pick from which makes it a great place for anyone who wants to try different culinary experiences. This week, we’ll highlight one of the best places to dine and experience Greenville’s gastronomic delights.

    Aryana Afghan Cuisine

Aryana brings authentic home cooked style Afghan food to Greenville, SC. It is Greenville’s first and only Afghan restaurant offering tasty dishes based on traditional home-cooked authentic Afghan recipes which are personally supervised by Owner & Chef Nelo Mayar to perfection.

Aryana is a cafeteria-style restaurant. The menu mix changes daily so you’ll always find something different. One day might be chicken kabob or spiced chickpeas and potatoes, and another might be lamb kabobs or roasted chicken, and steamed rice mixed with spices, raisins, and carrots. For those who want to check the next day menu, check up their Facebook page, they post updates of their next day menu on their page.

Afghan cuisine might not be on the top of the popular cuisines, but it is surely worth a try. Be instantly transported thousands of miles by the exotic flavors. They’re only opened for lunch though so definitely make sure to stop by when you have a lunch break!
