Aryana Afghan Cuisine
Aryana brings authentic home cooked style Afghan food to Greenville, SC. It is Greenville’s first and only Afghan restaurant offering tasty dishes based on traditional home-cooked authentic Afghan recipes which are personally supervised by Owner & Chef Nelo Mayar to perfection.
Aryana is a cafeteria-style restaurant. The menu mix changes daily so you’ll always find something different. One day might be chicken kabob or spiced chickpeas and potatoes, and another might be lamb kabobs or roasted chicken, and steamed rice mixed with spices, raisins, and carrots. Afghan cuisine might not be on the top of the popular cuisines, but it is surely worth a try. Be instantly transported thousands of miles by the exotic flavors. They’re only opened for lunch though so definitely make sure to stop by when you have a lunch break!

Greenville Open Studios, the largest open studios event in Greenville County, is an annual art event in November that showcases over 145 emerging and established artists in their studios. Studio locations vary throughout a 15-mile radius of downtown Greenville including Easley, Greer, Travelers Rest, and Simpsonville.
This year, 2017, marked the 16th Anniversary of Greenville Open Studios! The event connects the general public with artists for engaging dialog and a glimpse into the life of the working artist. Greenville Open Studios simultaneously helps artists market their work, gain new admirers, and ultimately sustain a living making art. The Greenville Open Studios event is FREE for visitors.
