Foodie Destination of the Week |
The restaurant scene in Greenville has exploded off the past decade with new restaurants springing up here and there. Downtown Greenville alone has brought an array of tasty cuisines to pick from which makes it a great place for anyone who wants to try different culinary experiences. This week, we’ll highlight one of the best places to dine and experience Greenville’s gastronomic delights.
Ji-Roz
This stylish addition to Greenville’s dining scene opened in January 2017 on the site of the new North Main complex. Its food takes inspiration from the creations of leading modern Greek restaurants; small plates, fab vegetarian dishes, Greek wine, and more.
The menu is delightful, combining traditional Greek dishes, along with house-made pastries and bread, and local craft beers. The flavors are reassuringly authentic – even in signature dishes such as grilled octopus and gyros. Snap up a couple of saganaki cheese, or try the fried calamari.
Pop in any time at midday for lunch or later for dinner. For friendly service and a traditional Greek experience, Ji-Roz is the place to go. Their food is fresh, hearty and exactly what you would expect from a Greek taverna.
