How To Make Cranberry Relish

No Thanksgiving dinner would be complete without cranberry relish. This is great with roast turkey or  sandwiches. Most of all, you can make this as early as two weeks in advance and keep it in the fridge until the turkey is out of the oven.

The flavor is a unique balance between tartness and sweetness. Simple, delicious and a snap to make, no cooking involve! This relish is certain to become a fast family favorite!

 

Here’s what you need:

1 box cranberries

2 apples

2 oranges

2 cups sugar

1/2 rind of orange

 

Here are 3 easy steps to make cranberry relish:

1. Grind together cranberries, apples, and oranges.

2. Add sugar and rind.

3. Cover and refrigerate until well chilled.

This recipe is as sweet as you want it to be. 2 cups of sugar will yield a very sweet result. If you don’t want it to taste too sweet, you can use 1 cup or 1 and a half cup instead. Just remember not to add too much lemon rind so it won’t taste bitter.
