Are there words you just can’t seem to say out loud? Say them with a charming wood sign. Looking for the perfect gift for your loved ones? Try giving them the inspirational quotes of love on a pallet. We have the perfect place where you can get these.
Artistic quotes on pallets, inspirational wall hangings, and porch signs are just a few of the crafty items available at Verdant Market located inside the Pink Owl boutique in downtown Simpsonville.
Watch our interview with the owner, Kelly Ooten, as she shares what Verdant Market has to offer.
What began as a passion for painting where its owner, artist and designer Kelly, started making custom signs for her friends and family, has bloomed into a beloved brick-and-mortar artsy boutique shop which she opened together with her friends – the Pink Owl. The boutique sells an array of great finds including gift items, clothing, and of course Kelly’s artistic custom signs.
Tap into your creative side
Not only does Kelly offer Instagram-worthy items for purchase or custom made, Verdant Market also hosts regular open workshops where you can choose and paint your own project. The full schedule of workshops is available online at verdantmarketsc.com.
You can also pop in and paint during the day. Schedule a one on one session with Kelly or bring a friend or two and create your own custom design projects. Just message Kelly directly on their Facebook page to set up a date and time. It will be a great opportunity to just do something fun and different during your weekly routines.
Among other things, you can also schedule a private party with Verdant Market. You can bring your own food or refreshments and you can choose any of their project designs. The kids’ parties include canvas hanging, pillow cover, and wood square signs.
Just pop in when you see the pink bike outside. While other shops just put up an open sign at the door, Pink Owl puts a pink bike by the door. It’s their unique sign when the shop is open. If you love arts and crafts, and anything you want to put your own touch on, this delightfully decorated boutique shop in Simpsonville is a real gem. They are open from Tuesdays to Saturday and you can also shop online by visiting their website or Facebook page.
