The restaurant scene in greater Greenville has exploded off the past decade with new restaurants springing up here and there. Downtown Greenville alone has brought an array of tasty cuisines to pick from which makes it a great place for anyone who wants to try different culinary experiences. This week, we’ll highlight one of the best places to dine and experience Greenville’s gastronomic delights.
Moe’s Original Bar B Que
Greenville has plenty of barbecue joints to choose from and some of the best barbecues in the state so barbecue lovers will surely love the latest addition to the growing list of barbecue joints in the Upstate -Moe’s Original BBQ just recently opened in one of the commercial spaces in the Westone development. This barbecue restaurant is the second location in South Carolina and the latest franchise of Moe’s Original Bar B Que who has locations in 16 states.
Pulled pork, subtly smoky and dressed in tangy sop sauce so good you’ll be asking for more is just one attraction at this spot where the smoked chicken is so good you’re almost tempted to order it instead. Don’t let the extensive selection of smoked meats – everything from pork to turkey – distract you from your goal: eat some of the best barbecues. You can just go for seconds. Spice things up with baked beans, marinated slaw or the special side of the day.
Tip: If you’re going for dinner, get there early so parking wouldn’t be hard. The place can get easily be filled with all barbecue hunters during peak hours. Don’t worry there is a lot of seating available and the service is quick and friendly.
