Foodie Destination of the Week |
The restaurant scene in Greenville has exploded off the past decade with new restaurants springing up here and there. Downtown Greenville alone has brought an array of tasty cuisines to pick from which makes it a great place for anyone who wants to try different culinary experiences. This week, we’ll highlight one of the best places to dine and experience Greenville’s gastronomic delights.
Monster Subs
Come to Monster Subs hungry as a bear because their subs are almost too big to fit in your mouth. Their sandwiches are massive, hence the name, Monster Subs. That and the fact that they are made with fresh veggies, freshly sliced Italian meats and cheeses in front of you.
Monster Sub menu includes classics like pastrami or corned beef all made in house, as well as signatures like the Godfather (porosciutto, sopressatta, fresh mozzarella, roasted red peppers and balsamic vinegar) and the Kracken (roast beef, roasted turkey, pepperoni, cheddar, jalapeno bacon, homemade chipotle mayo, lettuce, tomato, onion, spices and hot peppers).
The New Jersey transplants brought their successful subs business south in Spartanburg in 2013, and their new location in Greenville, SC this year. Guaranteed, this is best sub shop in Greenville today.
