 Foodie Destination of the Week

The restaurant scene in greater Greenville has exploded off the past decade with new restaurants springing up here and there. Downtown Greenville alone has brought an array of tasty cuisines to pick from which makes it a great place for anyone who wants to try different culinary experiences. This week, we’ll highlight one of the best places to dine and experience Greenville’s gastronomic delights.

Famous Toastery

Famous Toastery opened its door just last year in Poinsett Plaza at the old Two Chefs location and have since been serving breakfast, lunch and brunch meals seven days a week.  The restaurant offers several seating options, a main dining room, a bar area, patio seating during the week and seating in the atrium area of the Poinsett building.

This North Carolina based restaurant has a reputation for quality and has been consistently ranked among one of Charlotte’s best breakfast spots for the past decade. Their menu offers everything including omelets, eggs Benedict, breakfast sandwiches and French toast. There’s a lunch menu too, with sandwiches, salads, burgers, and even lobster. They also feature a full bar and offers drinks like mimosas, fresh squeezed orange juice, and other drinks.

The restaurant use high-quality ingredients and most items are made in-house. People with dietary restrictions can enjoy their food because it is also possible to customize orders. All hands on deck approach to service and great food make it one of the best breakfast and lunch restaurants in downtown Greenville.
