The restaurant scene in Greenville has exploded off the past decade with new restaurants springing up here and there. Downtown Greenville alone has brought an array of tasty cuisines to pick from which makes it a great place for anyone who wants to try different culinary experiences. This week, we’ll highlight one of the best places to dine and experience Greenville’s gastronomic delights.
Husk Greenville
Husk is the newest addition to the growing restaurant scene in Greenville having only opened last week. Originally from Charleston, Husk Greenville is their third location. It is one of the most anticipated restaurant opening this year because the executive chef, Sean Brock is not only awarded “Best Chef Southeast,” the restaurant was also named Best New Restaurant in America in 2011 by Bon Appetit magazine. Husk has won national acclaim for the restaurant’s approach to southern cuisine and its steadfast adherence to local ingredients.
What you can expect when you dine at Husk is an intense thoughtful dishes that have been cultivated from the seed up, and infused with flavors that enhance the taste of food making every bite more delicious. Their menu contain 8 – 10 first course items and around six entrée items. It changes daily and is driven by the market so there is always something to look forward to in your next Husk gastronomic experience.
